Mazie Long keeps husband’s memory alive through philanthropy

Ida Mae “Mazie” Long loved her husband, Robert (Bob), through 52 years of marriage. From their meeting as undergraduate accounting majors at the University of Kansas, where both graduated in 1957, until Bob’s death in 2009, Mazie was by his side.

Betty Anderson could do it all. She was an artist, pianist, chef, landscape gardener and self-taught architect. She studied at the prestigious New York School of Interior Design and Pratt Institute, creating a successful design career.
